Dr. Natalie Ries, DVM

Originally from southern Ontario, Dr. Ries attended the University of Guelph for her undergraduate studies in Biological Science and went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2023. 

After graduation, Dr. Ries practiced in a mixed-animal clinic working with horses, cattle, and small animals before completing an intensive equine internship at Rhinebeck Equine, where she gained advanced experience in equine medicine and surgery. The beauty of upstate New York drew her in and she is excited to join the Equine Clinic at Oakencroft. 

Dr. Ries enjoys all aspects of general practice especially reproduction and medicine work ups. Connecting with clients and their horses is her favorite part of the job. 

Outside of work, Dr. Ries enjoys mountain biking and cycling on the rail trails in the area, playing with her dachshund Ada and riding whenever she can.
